Kylee and Katy decided their "boyfriends" needed to meet their friends, so they planned a double date, unbenounced to anybody but the boyfriends and themselves. When they decided to share their plan, the parents decided to let them have it. We decided to take them bowling so the parents and the brothers could enjoy it as well.
When Kylee figured out we were bowling, she didn't want to invite Colton anymore because she "doesn't bowl very good" and didn't want to be embarrassed. I told her she didn't have to do anything with Colton she didn't want to do, that he was her friend, and she could have him around when she wanted. It turned out Colton had plans already anyway, since he hadn't told his mom either. Then Kylee bowled so well she was sad he wasn't there. haha Just because he wasn't there, don't think he wasn't part of it!
We ended up having a great time! We met at the bowling alley at 7. Blaine wanted them to turn the lights off and do glow and bowl, but they told him they didn't do that until 11 p.m. I told him there was no way we were staying that late, so he and Jack went to BEG them to do it earlier. Of course, they didn't agree. Blaine was so bummed and started begging us to let them stay that late. I told them that was four hours away, and there was NO way we were staying that late.
We were ALL having so much fun....
The guys
The kids
The girls
This is Katy and her "date", half of the intended double date.
.......that before I knew it, the lights went out! Yup, we had stayed so long it was 11 p.m. and time for glow and bowl . Blaine was SSOO excited!
His sister, though WAY too cool to admit it, really enjoyed it, too.
Their Mommy did pretty good, too!
Joey said, You better not be taking that picture just to show it to Grandmommy! I said, Why ELSE would I take that picture??! Here's to you, Grandmommy! I sure did good remembering to put that pencil behind my ear!
We bowled until MIDNIGHT!! And the kids acted like it was the neatest thing ever!
