Meeting Brodie Dan

Mom Mom and the kids and I set out this weekend to meet the new baby...and see the other cousins, too, of course. We left after work Friday and headed to Pecos, spent the night with Kyle's family, and then headed to Midland Saturday to meet Brodie. Kyle's family stayed in Pecos to show their animals in the stock show.

It was love at first sight....for most of us.


We had to FIGHT to get him away from Kylee so we could love on him. She literally held him 3/4 of the time we were there!

Blaine, on the other hand, when I asked him if he wanted to hold the baby, he said, "Nah, I'll just pet the dog!" HA! But since I didn't WANT a picture of him holding the dog....


Brodie is a GREAT baby. He sleeps constantly! Even when he nursed, he didn't open his eyes. We wanted to see his eyes, though, so his Daddy
took him and was calling his name in a deep voice and snapping his fingers. Can you tell it didn't work? LOL

We finally laid him on the couch, uncovered him, moved him around a lot, and got this.....for about three seconds! Good thing I'm trigger happy!

So I think this family is complete. (DOn't forget Courtney isn't there!) And Brodie is probably our last baby. :-(
