Officially 6

As of 5:13 p.m. this afternoon, Blaine is officially 6...and there's not one thing his Mommy can do about it! But, of course, be excited since he is. I took him balloons today at lunch that left no doubt how old he is.

Nana begin the tradition with him that she started with Kylee a few years ago. His day with her. She picked him up from school, balloons and all, and took him to Chick-fil-a and to "Robbie Bobbins" for ice cream.

After she brought him home, we headed to Applebees, not that he was hungry, but that's where he wanted to go. I'm not sure if he was more excited about dinner or that Dad Dad and Mom Mom are home....finally!

His sister bought him the digital camera he had been wanting

and he could not get enough of it. Not only did he take pictures of EVERYTHING he could find in the restaurant, but when we left, he

made us pose a thousand different ways to get pictures.

When we finished dinner, he was anxiously awaiting them to come sing Happy Birthday to him. They were headed our way with ice cream...but they went to another table. He said, "Huh?! What was that about?!"

They eventually made it our way, and he

LOVED it!
