Well, y'all for the first time in Reunion history, I think, we woke up Saturday morning for the reunion with no, not a flake, of snow on the ground in the Artic. Can you believe it? I'm still a little shocked. Not only was there no snow, it was actually sunny and warm! I even broke a sweat while getting things done in the kitchen and pictures taken. An Easter miracle, indeed.
Speaking of miracles, this year there were new babies. These four generations were in heaven for sure! Not only were there babies, they were beautiful, chunky babies we could love on and squeeze and snuggle and laugh with.
This is Noxon and Chord. Don't you LOVE them?!?!
After lunch,
, the kids headed out of the Easter egg hunt
(Notice the short-sleeved shirt
and the sun!! In the Artic! Shock, I tell ya!)
There were so many eggs, the guys even had to spread out to the alley! And if any of the eggs were cracked, they didn't want those eggs. They'd just throw them down. Jace said, "What is WRONG with these kids? We would have NEVER done that!" I said, "Yeah, but there were probably two dozen eggs amongst the 15 of us. These kids had NINE dozen, plus another 100 plastic ones filled with candy, and there are only eight of them! They can afford to be picky!"
After the egg hunt, we got Grandmommy's pictures.
and visited
Everybody was so relaxed and having so much fun, Gatlin figured when you gotta go,you gotta go!
Our Wilhite Easter reunion is always a blast, and she and I are already gearing up for next year!
