We stopped by the general store, bought our permit, visited the Santa bear, and headed out. We did our usual hunting for and finding the perfect tree for Papa and Nana's house. Then we broke tradition and skipped our annual cigar/slim jim 'smoke'. It has always been sorta Joey's deal, so without him, it just didn't seem right, so we skipped it.

We had ribbed Blaine all day long about his 'girlfriend' at the restaurant he's had his picture made with the last two years in a row. We couldn't wait to see her, but I think Blaine was actually a little nervous about it. He kept saying, "Maybe she won't be there. You know, she might not be there." She's not so grown up, though, that she didn't want to head over for their train pictureand a slide with her brother.
The kids decided to have a little
Before we headed home, we stopped to get Papa and Nana some firewood. While Blaine jumped out and made a hand, Kylee......not so much. I don't blame her, though. We were tired!!
After a fun and tiring day, we are back home, and Papa and Nana took home another great tree. Until next year...
