We know he's terrific. Mrs. Sanchez has acknowledged he's terrific. Now all of Sierra Vista knows he's terrific, too!!
He was SO excited when he got the news. He asked Mom Mom to call me at work and call his Daddy. All week he's been asking me, Joey, Dad Dad, and Mom Mom if we were for sure going to get to go to the ceremony. He wanted to make sure we were all going to be there to see this!
When he first came in the room, his smile
melted my heart. He was so excited! When he first got in, Dad Dad and I were the only ones there. He watched closely, though, and saw Mom Mom come in and then Daddy. Getting his award
Sitting back in his chair
with his certificate, free dress pass, buckaroo bucks (money they use at school to buy prizes), a pencil, a sticker, and coupons to Peter Piper Pizza. And a closer picture of his loot once I could actually get to him.
