The Business of Balmorhea

Balmorhea is one of our favorite weekends of the year. It may be the favorite weekend of the year. It's not vacation or a holiday, but it is relaxing and fun. Although we do the same things, eat the same foods, see the same people, I can assure you Balmorhea is anything but redundant. It's just the Business of Balmorhea.

Of course, there's the business at the pool, which includes the high dive,

the business of floating,

the business of relaxing,

the business of the low board,

the business of the tube,

and the business of making memories. The above picture was recreated by the two girls featured.

There's also Balmorhea business outside of the pool. On Saturday night, Cookie and her family bring Granny to come visit. So we get busy visiting with Granny

while Kyle is busy cooking our supper,

so we can get to the business of eating it.

This year we had some extra business. We got to celebrate Doak's birthday

and S'MORES!

There was, also, of course, the business of the "aquarium" with Dad Dad

and bike riding.

The business in Balmorhea is always Grand!
