Kylee's 10th Birthday

My baby girl is 10!!! We went out to eat on Friday night for her birthday dinner at Olive Garden. On Saturday, she had a "rock star" Birthday party at Justice. It was so much fun! They didn't have cool stuff like that when I was ten. It's pretty pricey, though, she only got to have five girls. Once they were there, it seemed like you really wouldn't want much more than that. They got their hair and make-up done, and they got the headset of a rockstar. Then they got to go shopping with their bags from a section of the store. After that, they played charades and Hannah (instead of Simon) Says. The two top winners got to be the 'captains' and pick a team. Come to find out, the teams made up a dance to a song and then had a contest that Mom judges. (It was a tie.) Then we all headed back to our house for cake and ice cream. The girls continued to sing and dance and laugh and play. The party started at noon, and nobody wanted to leave, so finally at 6:00, I had to tell them it was over. It was great fun, and I was mom of the year for the day.
